Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA) has added five dedicated foreign-language telephone lines to enable its call center to better serve the growing population of minority elders in Philadelphia. The new foreign language PCA Helplines are in Cambodian, Chinese, Hindi (Asian Indian), Korean and Vietnamese. PCA's main Helpline no., 215-765-9040, offers callers both Spanish and English alternatives. Nationwide Asthma Screening Program Comes to Philadelphia

He'll also be at The Vet Center, 101 East Olney Ave., between 10am and 2pm on Friday, June 6 -- call to confirm and for specific future dates. He will provide assistance with disability claims, records/medals replacement, and assistance with job search. For veterans who qualify, he can make applications for the Cold War Recognition Certificate (active duty service anytime between the dates of Sept. 2, 1945 and Dec 26, 1991). Applications can also be made for the Korean War Service Medal if the veteran qualifies. (The veteran must have been in Korea during the War.)
