Sarasota Big Band Jazz Ensemble

May 14th, Wednesday, at 7:30 p.m. the Sarasota "Big Band" Jazz Ensemble which is made up of approx. 25 musicians, directed by Tony Benade, an excellent musician and accomplished arranger, leads the band playing charts from Tommy & Jimmy Dorsey, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Woody Herman and Artie Shaw jazz favorites, smooth and mellow, with some improvisational music at Mildred Sainer Music & Arts Pavilion at New College of Florida, 5800 Bay Shore Road, Sarasota, Fl 34243.
